As you all know, i didn’t update my blog for a very long time. This is because i want to wait until i get to Seattle and have nothing better to do. I’ll try to upate more often as i’ll surely have much more free time. So yeah, i’m here in Bellevue, WA. i come here with mix feeling of excitment, sadness, and nervousness. I’m sad because (now) i’m so far away from my family, my friends and most of all, my beloved Chrissy. After seeing and living with her everyday last semester, at least every weekend this summer, a couple months of seperation is just a bit too much for both of us. I’m excited and (at the same time) nervous to start a single life seperated from my family. Having my own apartment, my own car, doing thing i want to do, all of these make me excited. However, it also scares me. How will i adjust to these changes? how will i handle so much bills every month? how can i stand not seeing my family and Chrissy for so long? sigh….

Anyway, so my journey to the west begin with a rough start. First, my fly was just ridiculously long. I have to fly to Alanta and waited there for 2 hours and 47 mins. As we began to take off to Seattle, the stupid thunderstorm decided to fly over Atlanta airport and made us wait ON THE AIRPLANE for almost 2 hours. After getting off at Seattle airport, me and my dad couldn’t seem to find our luggage. It turned out that because our plane came late, the luggages were put in a seperate section and we only figured it out after 30 mins running around the airport. The nightmare didn’t stop there. After getting our rental car, we couldn’t find ANY motel or hotel that has availble room. We searched over 15 motels/hotels around the airport. none of them had vacancy. We went to bellevue area and still get the same result. Finally, at 2am, we are able to find a hotel that has A LAST room available for 149/night.

After all the troubles, i was able to move into my apartment. We bought a lot of stuff for the room. I tried to get the cheapest (but not too bad) stuff possible because i planned to move back to the East after a year or so working at Microsoft. I’ll take pictures of the room and post it up later. I know i promised many that i’ll do so but i was too busy these couple days with settle thing down. I wont get my car until early next week but at least i get that down. The only thing that still make me feel uneasy is that my s*ck a** recruiter still doesn’t contact me yet after so many emails and messages i left for her. I even came to her office on Friday. Although i didn’t get to talk to her in person, but i left a phone message, a message with the front desk person after waiting for 20 minutes. Still, she didn’t even contact me back yet. I dont know where and when i suppose to report to on my first day of work. I still doesnt have my official offer letter to give to my landlord as proof of employement verification. I email the graduated network of microsoft on friday but it was a bit late. I’ll definitely report this to human resource on monday when i go to Microsoft. She’s such a bad recruiter.

Anyway, i think i’ll stop for today and continue my story the next couple days.
